At the meetup, storytelling helps our community feel truly uplifted, supported, and validated. It is a brave space where we make the world a more inclusive and better place.
If you identify as intersectional, mixed identity, an ally, advocate, or a multidimensional human being, the space is for YOU. We encourage all our attendees to bring stories, experiences, and expertise to each meetup.
How do differing visions of class,
career, etc affect your family?
How have perspectives on achieving
success shifted throughout generations?
How do we navigate family relations in a society that places more
importance on financial success than on cultural values?
to Expect at the Meetups
Come prepared, and show up in style to the meetup by downloading our booklet and TMS-themed Zoom backgrounds. We’d love to see your face: turning your camera on is encouraged but not a must. We are happy you’re here, so come as you are!
We encourage all our attendees to bring stories, experiences, and expertise to each monthly topic. Keeping our community guidelines in mind and practice, the meetup space is for YOU.
We invite all attendees to contribute to the board.
The whiteboard is used as a space for TMS members to share their takeaways from the meetup, name the commitments we pledge to make, and a space where people can have fun and draw whatever resonated with them at the event.
As an inclusive space, we are mindful to narrate the community efforts on the whiteboard, especially for those who are visually impaired.
