Haatepah & Nyamuull Clearbear
Adopted at age one by two white fathers, Haatepah and Nyamuull Clearbear grew up detached from their Indigenous identity. Until they were teenagers, they had no idea where they were from or who their biological family was. So at eighteen, they went on a journey of self discovery to find out who they really are. The pair sought out and eventually found their Indigenous family and the answers they had been looking for. They discovered they are part of the Chichimeca-Guamare, Kumeyaay, and Pai Pai tribes. Their goal after unearthing their Indigenous heritage became one of spreading awareness through their platforms as models and activists.

Haatepah (aka Coyotl) and Nyamuull Clearbear proudly represent their heritage in the fashion industry. They use their voices and creativity to advocate for Indigenous Rights and Climate Justice. They are dedicated to their community and family and are only at the beginning of an amazing journey that will continue to change the world.

What is The Mixed Space?
TMS is a community organization celebrating intersectional identities by hosting monthly meetups that navigate conversations on identity, culture, and civic engagement. We create safe spaces for people to listen and learn with each other; to witness and validate the totality of an individual's experience of the world.
